Welcome to all visitors to the official website of SSMMUSSS Government Post Graduate College Dwarahat, Almora (स्वर्गीय श्री मदन मोहन उपाध्याय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय द्वाराहाट, अल्मोड़ा). The college is located in Dwarahat Block of district Almora. The primary vision of the institution is to educate Uttarakhand’s youth to become self-sufficient adults by helping them to identify, develop, and promote their strengths, skills and universal values. We emphasise the importance of excellence in all human endeavours, not only academic ones, in order to reach perfection. We are committed to maintain our excellence and also welcome the guardians and local bodies to come forward for this purpose.

The students are expected to attend the classes and participate in classroom, seminars and other extra-curricular activities on regular basis. Our learned teachers actively participate in all academic activities other than the classroom teaching. Non-teaching staff ably supports the college in every aspect.  SSMMUSSS Government Post Graduate College Dwarahat was established in 1983 with an area of 1.5 acres (approx.) with a Latitude and Longitude of 29.769634° N and 79.415013°E respectively. The college offers UG courses in faculty of arts, science and commerce and PG courses in arts, science.
